I’m through with this…set up the IP-block with over 500 IP addresses blocked as of 12:00h pm today!

Unfortunately I must admit that most of the traffic is spam related…info also taken from the stats as well as the Pivot-Blacklist extension I’m running on this blog. Perhaps I should consider a complete IP-block on these spammers…
My biggest problem is not that this phenomenom is present (I actually
don’t see anything of it, except in the stats)…a much bigger issue
will be that it can cause a website shutdown if too much traffic is
generated!!!
I’ve got a 1Gb deal on a per month basis (cheapy, cheapy, I
know…don’t blame me for being dutch :))…hmm, go figure…if this
malicious traffis continues in this pace, this site will be down per
October 19th, 00:11h (am).
I’LL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! 🙂 🙂
