Just three days before departure…am *really* looking forward to Pohoda 2006, the Slovak rock/dance festival!!
Yessss….the unleash has reached the next step, over the weekend I was able to log in! There are still some bits and pieces to set straight, I know the dudes and dudettes at Podshow are working their asses off…all-in-all I'd say it's a pretty impressive start!
Let your experience begin…check yourself in at Podshow.com!!
Just checked the site again and got thru to the main page!!!
I logged in and got the message: 'Congratulations! You're almost in.'…got all excited now! Followed the process of getting an activation key, received the verification mail, clicked on the link to activate my account and…got a message 'Sorry, that code was invalid.'…guess we still have to wait just a little bit…anyone else more luck??
Things are moving!
Today the last clip was put on the site, you see Ron Bloom searching for the button to unleash the Podshow+ Public Beta, after Adam apparently told him to go ahead and hit it.
A nice touch is that the flash animation filename is '420.swf'…he he he, 420 for the guys at Podshow!!
The direct link to the clip:
Quite funny, through the entire day Podshow has put different clips on their site to ease the waiting for the Podshow+ unleash. In these clips you see Adam sitting behind his craplet I guess (the Toshiba Protege :)) waiting for the unleash…actually getting tired of waiting.
As you can see the view is taken seen 'through' the monitor which gives a nice touch to the upcoming event!

Last Sunday July 2nd, Adam Curry's mother, Valarie Gail Clark, passed away at the age of 67.
Listen to yesterdays DSC…
I remember the Daily Source Code of October 20, 2004 when Adam talked about her illness just a day after discovering it…personal, emotional and very touching! Since then, her fight to survive and live a decent life has been an integral part of the Daily Source Code.
We, podcast listeners in general and Daily Source Code listeners in particular, were included in this and have supported Adam and his family in various ways over the last two years.
I know every bit helps, hang in there dude, we're here for you!
Finally found some time to post the photos from the Texel weekend on my Flickr-page! (hope you like them Ron :))
I was also confronted with a limitation of the free/basic Flickr-account…maximum 3 photo sets.
:(
The Texel pictures can still be found via the 'Texel 2006' tag though!
