Wedding weekend was GREAT!

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

Just a quicky before I'm hitting the hay…the wedding weekend was GREAT! Axel and Beike both said 'YES' and are married, an amazing group of people attended a superb weekend. I'm running out of words, it was so darn special having the *honor* to be commissar of the weekend (is that the same as 'master of ceremony'??). Even was able to REALLY enjoy everything…mission accomplished!! :)

Poem of the Day…?!?

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

Some sentences circled through my brain today, seems like a little poem.

I wanted to share them…am still wondering where they came from though.

Without darkness no light,

Without black no white,

Paint the picture of your life,

Use all colours you can find,

And make it bright.

Am outta here!

Two quotes:

"We see that RSS is still very early in its adoption and use overall."….huh?!?

"it really shouldn't matter whether you're accessing your content from your computer, your phone or your tv - we're going to see consistency in that experience."…YESSSSS!!!

Am a happy FF user for years now. Check it out for yourself & download it!

Gillmor Gang, Friday the 13th Gang

Monday, October 23rd, 2006

Just finished listening to another episode of The Gillmor Gang (my favorite tech&geek podcast). This one was recorded on Friday the 13th and is not surprisingly called 'Friday the 13th Gang' :)…and…it was HILARIOUS!! It was actually more a fun and social talk than deep techy&geeky, but I still enjoyed it to bits!

Listen to all 5 parts: part I, II, III, IV and V.
Especially the end of the last episode got me rollin' on the floor; Jason Calacanis did his Adam Curry imitation, having him crying from laughing too :)

History of podcasting

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

Clique Communications' Richard Giles posted the The Origins Of Podcasting. A complete overview of the history of podcasting…very complete I must admit…it's the first overview I've come across that decribes the amazing encounter I had with Adam Curry (a moment later referred to as a 'godcasting' by Dave Winer)…kudos Richard! :)

PS. Adam didn't think I was an offending motorist, for him it turned out to be a 'click'-moment…showing him that he was really on to something big! :)

Scruncher…or…Folder??

Tuesday, October 17th, 2006

A big topic in Adam's Daily Source Code for months now…it's about time to point y'all to the official website that is keeping track of Scrunchers and Folders worldwide, scruncherorfolder.com! :)

So…how do YOU roll??

New header graphic

Monday, October 16th, 2006

I wasn't too happy with the last header graphic, the picture was amazing, especially the light and story behind it, but I am not that pleased with the overall colors and atmosphere, so…check it out, an amazing sunset taken some weeks ago in Schiermonnikoog!
