Syncing websites
Wednesday, February 20th, 2008I am the webmaster for several websites and usually work with them from my home-pc. Every now and then however I need to update a site when on the road and have to work from my laptop, today was one of those days…
Normally I’m pretty strict on syncing the most recent versions of the sites between my home-pc and laptop, but after updating a websites today I discovered that the laptop version was out of sync. Uhmm, I discovered this *after* changing it on the webserver, aahhhh!
Luckily it didn’t break the site completely, but some of the layout is wrecked.
Can’t solve it now as I don’t have access to my home-pc…damn! Should consider an online backup file for emergencies. Hmm, I guess it’s time to go to bed…
