I am going to Mozambique!!
For years I have thought about doing something more with my life, something more than ‘just’ work and enjoy the relatively easy life in Western Europe, physically contributing to a better world by DOING something rather than supporting from a distance.
In January I decided that 2012 would be the year to put action to words and thoughts, and so it will be: I am going to Mozambique from May 11-20!! Together with a team of twelve I will participate in the Habitat for Humanity Global Village program, building housing for orphans and their caretakers in the Gaza province in Mozambique!
There is still lot to arrange, but I am THRILLED about this and can’t wait to go…obviously you can expect updates here on the blog (as well as on the team page).
That’s awesome!!Take time to go to the beach while you’re there… when is this all happening?
@rejo read the post silly, May 11-20! 😉 and indeed, AWESOME! The beach is not the first thing that crossed my mind…
no time.. HOMEWORK.. and you’re doing a lovely job of distracting me!
Dont get kiilled…..Gærne nederlander.:-(
Awesome!! Can you build an orphanage in 9 days?
Awesome!! Well done you! I went to India with Habitat for Humanity a few years ago and it was the most amazing experience. Enjoy!
@mike sure I can! With a little help from my friends! 😉

@stef die staan al stevig hoor, moet wel uitkijken dat ik ze niet vast metsel daar! 😉
