John Muir: “When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.”

Today is the first day of something new…

Tuesday, July 15th, 2014

I am well aware that I made some people pretty curious as to where my ‘first and second step into something new’ blogposts would lead to…well, ‘disclosure time’ is finally here:

After a period of 1,5 years in which I haven’t worked (at least not in the routine rat-race way that everyone seems to love so much 🙂 ), in which I took the opportunity to self-reflect as well as self-study, helped out people left and right with their processes and practicalities, was able to intensely enjoy the freedom to have an almost daily choice of what to focus my energy on, and above all; a period where I have had an invaluable opportunity to witness Misha grow from ‘non-speaking-just-started-walking’ baby boy to a ‘hey-daddy-look-how-fast-I-can-run-away-from(-or-towards-to)-you’ little child…it showed me how valuable time is, and how needed change can be.

Today has been the day that this phase of my life transformed into something new: yessss, I started working again!!

I decided some time ago to start my own consultancy company, and I found my first customer; my former employer! (or at least, a sister division of it, meaning I will work together with some very familiar faces, again!) 🙂

This morning I enjoyed a warm welcome in an environment that I know all to well, with enough challenges to keep me sharp…yeah, it is good to be back in business!!

Happy and excited!!

Haha, my welcome package:

Sir Winston Churchill: “Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.”

W. Somerset Maugham: “It is very difficult to know people and I don’t think one can ever really know any but one’s own countrymen. For men and women are not only themselves; they are also the region in which they are born, the city apartment or the farm in which they learnt to walk, the games they played as children, the old wives’ tales they overheard, the food they ate, the schools they attended, the sports they followed, the poets they read, and the God they believed in. It is all these things that have made them what they are, and these are the things that you can’t come to know by hearsay, you can only know them if you have lived them.”

Ibiza Day 2: slow day and a second step

Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014

Last nights festivities called for a slow day and the mansion with its pool is a great place to do just that. 🙂

The biggest event of the day has been a follow up to last months first step into something new; a second hurdle has been taken, bits and pieces are falling into place and I am verrrry close to reveal it all…extremely excited and happy, and Ibiza is a great place to celebrate…yayyy! 🙂 🙂

Ibiza Day 1: Hardwell

Tuesday, July 1st, 2014

The early wake-up call this morning has a huge advantage; a full day of Ibiza sun at the mansion (with pool 🙂 ) yayyy! 🙂 A pretty good way to rest a little before tonights highlight, Hardwell, the #1 DJ in the world!

I saw him once before, two years ago at Breda Live, just before he became ‘da man’…looking forward…party on!!
