Oprah Winfrey: “The whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be.”
ROTFLMAO, hilarious!!!! (this phenomenon btw. was made ‘famous’ in NL by 3FM DJ Timur as ‘Mama Appelsap’)
Haha, song texts are not always clear and shortcuts are easy; I remember singing ‘Freedom, whoo-ho-ho-ho’ instead of ‘Feed the World’ in Band Aid’s ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas’ song! LoL

Brian Adams: “Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness, and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success.”
Lady Gaga: “Sometimes in life you don’t always feel like a winner, but that doesn’t mean you’re not a winner.”
Frank Herbert: “There is probably no more terrible instant of enlightenment than the one in which you discover your father is a man–with human flesh.”
Maureen Dowd: “The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for.”
Over a month and no Song of the Day; a statistical ‘not-possible’ after a few fantastic concerts that I have seen in the past weeks, so…here we go:
This one is meant to bring back the friggin’-awesome atmosphere of last Saturday’s Armin ONLY – Intense concert!! Let me here it for Armin van Buuren with Ping Pong…whoop whoop!!
As this is the ‘official’ video and you miss the ‘touch of live’ from it, check out the pics below that I took at the show last week:
Mikhail Bakunin: “The freedom of all is essential to my freedom.”
Here’s a great time saver for y’all, and…just in time for the Xmas (gift wrapping) Season! 🙂
Follow the example in this Youtube video and you too will be done wrapping in about 12 seconds, woohoo!! Oh, this trick can be used out of season too btw. He he, I just love these hacks! 🙂
(disclaimer; I am not a big fan of Christmas turning into a gift-exchange-bonanza, I value quality time with loved ones during the Xmas Season a LOT more…with or without presents or a tree for that matter!)
Og Mandino: “I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars.”
Rodney Yee: “As we look deeply within, we understand our perfect balance. There is no fear of the cycle of birth, life and death. For when you stand in the present moment, you are timeless.”
Karen Hall and Jerry Stahl: “If you’re here for four more years or four more weeks, you’re here right now. I think when you’re somewhere, you ought to be there. It’s not about how long you stay in a place, it’s about what you do while you’re there, and when you go, is that place any better for your having been there?”
Anna Quindlen: “A finished person is a boring person.”
T. S. Eliot: “Whatever you think, be sure it is what you think; whatever you want, be sure that is what you want; whatever you feel, be sure that is what you feel.”
John Green: “Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin.”
Quite unexpected this is a weekend filled with dancing; yesterday an alternative Sinterklaas evening with ‘only some’ presents and muchos dancingos at ‘casa Phielix’ and tonight we got tickets for Armin van Buuren woohooooo!! The last show of his ‘Armin Only – Intense world tour’, Be sure that it will be party hardy all night long, an event to remember and dance ’till you drop yayyy!!! 🙂
Oprah Winfrey: “Often we don’t even realize who we’re meant to be because we’re so busy trying to live out someone else’s ideas. But other people and their opinions hold no power in defining our destiny.”
Sidney J. Harris: “Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.”
I didn’t know what the word ‘murmuration’ meant (had to look it up) yet after watching the YouTube video below I will never forget it…WoW…no words…AMAZING!!!
PS: murmuration is a flock of starlings 🙂
George Moore: “A man travels the world over in search of what he needs and returns home to find it.”
