When your girl is celebrating her Birthday and invites friend to Norway for the party, I should have been aware of the ‘consequences’; they made an outside bar, in the snow, brought enough liquor to fill an elephant, or two, Armin van Buuren is playing his (summer) Ushuaia Ibaza set out loud (neighbors are virtually not here 🙂 )…all in all heaps of fun and dancing till we drop! Woohooooooo!!
H. G. Wells: “We must not allow the clock and the calendar to blind us to the fact that each moment of life is a miracle and mystery.”
Henry J. Kaiser: “When your work speaks for itself, don’t interrupt.”
Cicero: “Natural ability without education has more often attained to glory and virtue than education without natural ability.”
Very few have the opportunity to look at the Earth from space, but man, wouldn’t everyone LOVE to do that after seeing this YouTube video?
The time-lapse, made by European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst, shows stunning views of the Earth, sunrises, clouds, lightning, auroras, stars, and the International Space Station.
The 12,500 images, stitched together to create this video, are captured during his six-month stay on the International Space Station (which orbits ‘only’ 400 kilometers above the surface of the Earth).
One word: BE-AU-TI-FUL!
Travel into space might very well be an option during my lifetime (commercialized through Elon Musk’s SpaceX?!) so who knows, I and many more might have the opportunity to enjoy the same views one day!
Leo Buscaglia: “The easiest thing in the world to be is you. The most difficult thing to be is what other people want you to be. Don’t let them put you in that position.”
Arthur Ashe: “Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.”
Thomas A. Edison: “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”
Mahatma Gandhi: “Honest differences are often a healthy sign of progress.”
