Turning the page of time

Monday, December 31st, 2018

A tradition like no other: today is that unique and special day in the year when one day, one hour, one minute makes a whole year difference…we turn the imaginary page of time tonight and after celebrating it we wake up in a brand New Year. By then, page 2018 of the ‘book of life and the world’ has been completely written and all experiences of the past year are stored in it.

The year of 2018 has been a year of mostly continuity for me and quite some ‘firsts’ for Misha; it started  with an amazing winter, lots of fun in the snow and skiing through winter wonderland and the summer has been unusually long, super warm and sunny. My beautiful enthusiastic lovely now 7-year old angel changed his first tooth, self-handedly caught his first fish, went to a real Dance Festival with daddy (Dream Village), steered a speedboat (and wanted to become a speedboat racer), got his swimming diploma, and many more. We’re cherishing our time together in Norway and NL and the love for and from friends and family makes life complete.

The celebration of Misha’s 7th Birthday with family in NL and a party with his friends in Norway was memorable, as was having my parents and sister with kids over for a splendid Norwegian Xmas celebration.

It has been yet another busy year running my company and balance came from peace and quiet times at home, as well as (dance) events throughout the year whoopwhoop…the year flew by; a continuous process of letting go of past and getting to know the present and future possibilities…most is balanced in the end.

It is good to know that all the 2018 experiences are stored in a safe place; in my heart and my memory…I can look back, laugh, cry, read, learn, and all of that without any regrets!

Writing things down and then turning the page of time also means that things can be put to rest…it is a good moment to go on and look forward towards everything that future offers and say: “Well, hellooo 2019, here I *am*!!”

Time, it is o-so relative…I wish everyone a splendid life in the Now, filling each moment with unconditional love…share it and pass it on…❤️
