New header graphic
Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010The season to enjoy summer sunsets (and a related header graphic) is long gone and with winter on its way I chose a new header graphic for the blog.
It’s a nice autumn composition, eh? 😉
The season to enjoy summer sunsets (and a related header graphic) is long gone and with winter on its way I chose a new header graphic for the blog.

Hmm, it was about time to change the header graphic for my blog, the previous one with Norwegian flags lasted for more than one year (!)…hehe, I guess y’all know by know that I love Norway, eh? 😉
This one was taken during last weekends sailing trip on the Oslo fjord and perfect for this time of year; an amazing sunset, one can never have enough of those!
Or actually; an old one…anyway, it matches this time of year a tiny bit better than the winter-wonderland from before, eh? 😉
Well, it was about time…time for a new header graphic! Indonesian nature was amazing, so the choice of a picture was easy. 😉
Furthermore I made some changes on the WordPress back-end; I enabled widgets on the sidebar, you won’t (or shouldn’t) see a difference, but it makes it easier for me to manage the sidebar.
It enabled me to add my Facebook Status in the sidebar via its RSS feed, I am using the status to display where on planet earth I enjoy my life today. 😉
…I guess this one gives it away…:)
I wasn’t too happy with the last header graphic, the picture was amazing, especially the light and story behind it, but I am not that pleased with the overall colors and atmosphere, so…check it out, an amazing sunset taken some weeks ago in Schiermonnikoog!
Got rid of the ‘sushi’ header graphic, I made a more appropriate one for these weeks! Nice, eh?
I am a sucker for Japanese food ever since I went to Japan in 2004! (check out the website www.gse2004.nl)
Look what my baby made me last week for dinner…I LOVE IT!!
Also in the picture is Gizmo a.k.a. Gizzy, the pussycat who is staying over for some months, until Dana is back from her trip around the world! Luckily we have three cats of our own, so plenty of opportunity to tear the place apart 🙂
I also used a picture of the terrific sushi dinner to create a new header graphic:
