What’s on your Mint? :)
TechCrunch40, a conference in which forty of the hottest new startups from around the world are given the chance to announce and demo their products is done and over.
The best presenting company (receiving $50,000 as part of the award) has been chosen…and the winner is: Mint.
Mint
is a personal finance application that lets users track and monitor
their financial information in one place without the need of routine
maintenance or accounting knowledge. It tracks bank, credit union and
credit card transactions and alerts users to upcoming bills, low
balances or unusual spending.
Added to this Mint constantly searches through thousands of offers from hundreds of
providers to find the best deals on everything from bank accounts to
credit cards; cable, phone and Internet plans, and more.
FINALLY the time consuming task of product comparison will be done for you! 🙂
This all looks to be very promising, and has the potential of changing the landscape, the way people organize their personal cashflow.
Pity the service is currently working only with US financial institutions (3,500 of them)…:(
Raymond,
Yes, Mint is only for the US right now…but in case you have friends in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, we’ll be expanding there next year. If you know the Dutch banking system well, and want us help accelerate there, contact me.

Hey Aaron, nice of you to comment, I can imagine these days are hectic…or better, HECTIC! 🙂
I’m not much into the dutch banking system other than a standard user, sorry. 🙂
Besides that, I’ve just moved to Norway so not living in NL anymore. And my knowledge of the Norwegian banking system is close to 0 🙁
Anyway, I’ll alert my friends in Canada and Oz!
