Oops, I forgot to take my beard trimmer with me to Trysil, and was therefore facing the similar question as some years ago:
to shave or not to shave. The answer was simple; ‘to shave’!
My face feels bald and as soft as silk, it looks weird though. 😉

We’ve been skiing on a misty mountain today, yesterdays sun was nowhere near… 🙁 The nice side effect is the fresh powder that fell, waiting for us tomorrow!
Two more cheeseheads joined the bunch tonight, so we’re almost complete now…the last two (actually 1,5 cheesehead 😉 ) are coming on Thursday, sweet!

The first bunch of cheeseheads arrived in Trysil yesterday, all for a week of skis, boards, snow, sun and fun!

I ‘found’ some recent movies (just some 😉 ) on da internet tubes and ripped around 30 CD’s filled with hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s…that together with the 100+GB of Tunes already on my Mac Mini, I am pretty sure that we’ll turn Trysil into a multimedia-maxi-dance-free-chill-and-party-extravaganza coming week…eeeaaasssyyyy!

We’ll go skiing with 13 fellow cheeseheads in Trysil coming week! Most of them are flying in from The Netherlands on Sunday, but Rob and Marko arrived ahead of the rest by car last night, that’s two days extra vacation for them and some ‘imported’ goodies for us! 😉

Vacation has begun…it’s gonna be heaps of fun!!

Apple fanboy as I am 😉 April 1 marks, besides April Fools’ Day, also the Birthday of Apple.

Fortune magazine named them the most admired company in the world in 2008, 2009, and 2010, quite an accomplishment. Apple intends to celebrate their 34th ‘magical’ with coming Satuday’s iPad launch…let the festivities begin!

The extra evening hour we ‘got’ last weekend when daylight saving time moved our clocks one hour forward (although factually an hour was taken from us!), had the impact it was intended for; when I drove back home tonight around 7pm, the sun was still way up over the hills around the house and from inside the car it looked like summer is around the corner! Weather wasn’t that good really, only +2 degrees and even some wet snow just 10 minutes before… 😉

Today exactly six years ago, March 28 2004, I arrived in Japan for an experience of a lifetime; 4 weeks with 5 amazing people on a trip through a culture that is so different and so interesting that it became a life changing event!

We summed the experience up in the recipe below (as put on our website, gse2004.nl):

The Formula One‘ circus has landed in sunny Australia this weekend. As always, the time difference is challenging, although that never stopped me to watch it live in the past years! 😉

This particular Grand Prix race is always a bit special for me since I *was* in Australia 16 years ago, unfortunately just missed the race by one week, but I still saw the city getting ready for the event (still Adelaide in those days), nice!

I first heard them on Adam Curry‘s Daily Source Code some years back. With the recent return of the DSC, the biddies came back on my radar too, cool!

I am a fan of Apple (all ‘iDevices’) and I believe the ‘Conversations with God‘ books written by Neal Donald Walsch are great…

Now developments in internet technology made it possible to have a chat with God on the net with the ‘iGod‘ application! Funky! 😉

Adam, thx! It was great to listen to last Friday’s DSC, the FUBAR Friday festivities led up to a perfect atmosphere for a welcome back to ‘Charlie’ mood!

The one year, six weeks, six days and 13 hours between this show and the last one  is washed away, diminished into the ‘days between shows’ that we were used to…amazing how flexible time is and how easy it really is to get back into the vibe!

The DSC#781 ‘Awakening’ piece (excellently edited by ‘Ray On The Charlie’) was a superb run down memory lane and wake-up from snooze moment for some I believe.

For those of you wondering what this ‘secret’ language codes all means; I’d say, take a listen and get on board!! 😉

And just when weather (and today’s date!) makes you believe that spring has started, you wake up, look outside and see it’s snowing again?!?

Adam is ‘Back In The Sack‘ and posted DSC #822 just over an hour ago. Hehe, my podcatcher (iTunes) just downloaded it and I have a whole weekend to listen to it, great!!

I just finished listening to episode 182 of the No Agenda podcast (aka Open Source Radio Show), so I’m totally up to date with the real news behind the mainstream media controlled news! 😉

And, I’m just in time to be ready for Adam’s ‘Daily’ Source Code this week…yeah, that’s right, the show is coming back as promised, and this is gonna be THE week, great! As Adam mentioned on my Facebook page a month ago; patience is a virtue… 😉

I’m interested to hear what direction the show will take…the last episodes (over a year ago) were a prelude for the No Agenda topics (totally awesome). I wonder how regular the DSC will be, I expect it could become ‘almost’ daily again if only Adam would get his ‘Delta Sierra‘ sold, hehe. 😉

Work this week is totally crazy! I don’t mind working hard at all, I love what I do so no probs there. But to be in the office for 31 hours in just two days (!) is a bit too much in my book…besides the regular things to take care of, most of the time went into making travel expense reports. Obviously I was behind on making them…oh well, the good part is that I will soon be a rich man! 😉

Note to self; do these reports on a more regular basis and, don’t blame the system. 😉

My mother in law celebrates her 61st Birthday today, congratulations!

I can’t be there, but can at least mark the day on the blog (and have a piece of the virtual cake! 😉 ).

The lazy Saturday is followed by a not so lazy Sunday; I finished the IKEA fun stuff and it looks good; the stereo-set fits nicely, the TV finally hangs on the wall and all the cables are hidden…job well done!

I just paid some invoices, so the administration is also up to date and with that it is time to zzzzz, another busy week is coming up (hmm, Kissy will fly to New York, some seem to have *all* the fun! 😉 )
